Celebrating their 55th anniversary this year, John and Virginia Edlund feel very fortunate in life. They've raised two children, a son and a daughter, and have had successful careers; John as an IT professional and Virginia as a nurse. They've also been very much involved with their family.
Today, living at Eskaton Village Carmichael, they are both engaged in various activities, classes and entertainment. They are active, they are social, and they are enjoying life.
John's motto, "share, save, spend" (in that order) reflects the profound belief in philanthropy that he and Virginia have instilled in their family and a lasting tradition they've passed down to the younger generations.
One of the ways that John and Virginia give back is through charitable gift annuities. Having invested in three charitable gift annuities through Eskaton Foundation, John and Virginia are leaving a legacy that will help seniors for years to come.
Give the Gift That Gives Back
With a charitable gift annuity, you give cash, marketable securities or other assets to Eskaton Foundation, and we, in turn, pay you a fixed amount for life. This arrangement also provides you with tax benefits and eventually supports Eskaton's mission. For more information about this and other gifts that make a long-term impact on the quality of life for older adults, contact Kim Rhinehelder at 916-334-0810 or email@example.com.
